Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon, Vice Chancellor, Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana alongwith Dr P.S. Aulakh, Director of Horticulture, Punjab visited the PHPTC stall during Research and Extension specialists' workshop of Vegetables, Floriculture and Sericulture on 31-5-2017. The dignitaries interacted with the scientists of the centre. Dr BVC Mahajan Director, PHPTC explained that scientists of the centre designed a plastic crate (10 Kg ) for tomato and also developed the protocol for drying of bitter gourd slices. Both the technologies have been approved by Research Evaluation Committee of PAU.
